Chesterman's Beach, approximately 3 kilometers of white sand and scattered rock outcroppings, from the North West end by the Wickanninish Inn to the South East where it terminates in a rocky shoreline penetrated with crevasses and caves. About mid point the beach swings off in a spit to the South and at low tide joins up with Frank Island. During severe winter storms the ocean pounds on the island with such severity the waves actually crash over the rock formation at the center point creating two islands.
